But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charly Tevez couldn't finish the play. Dante Sol might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvano Lohitzun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. A.A FÊNIX's Silvano Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Sol in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes A.A FÊNIX got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Dantae. A collision led to Dragon Hunter getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Cristian Emeterio hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Haimar got free with Gerardo Oalo in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charly Tevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvano Lohitzun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charly Tevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Charly Tevez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvano Lohitzun. A.A FÊNIX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charly Tevez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charly Tevez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, A.A FÊNIX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Beti to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Dragon Hunter's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Fanuco came free, but Gerardo Oalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Charly Tevez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dragon Hunter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. The supporters of Dragon Hunter booed when A.A FÊNIX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Fanuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Oalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Marquez in the 82nd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Dragon Hunter got a freekick which was hit by Charly Tevez. When the final whistle sounded Dragon Hunter left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A.A FÊNIX.
