Justino Loramendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Colchester United's Natalio Arnas got control of the ball when Justino Loramendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Natalio Arnas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Kornatowski charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Kornatowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Colchester United booed when Compostela FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Kornatowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Compostela FSCMZ reached it. In the 78th minute Justino Loramendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Arnas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, George Woodhead notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Compostela FSCMZ's Cesar Peyo. Cesar Peyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
