The supporters of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daustad's Jo Øverås proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Daustad from getting a goal against them. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Daustad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hortêncio Coutinho took the corner. The corner led GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Hortêncio Coutinho to fire away a dangerous shot which Jo Øverås despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Medárd Horváth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Medárd Horváth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Medárd Horváth took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jo Øverås. Jo Øverås dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Luis Bonet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Schmeichel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Medárd Horváth got a free kick in the 30th minute. Celestino Poncio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Medárd Horváth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Alberigo Mancini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jo Øverås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Răcănel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes, Daustad's Pelle Anundsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Daustad reached it. Jo Øverås made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medárd Horváth in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Medárd Horváth made a kick off. Jo Øverås showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Răcănel, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bonet in the 56th minute of play. In the 65th minute Kevin Bernini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ştefan Vlădoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL made a substitution. Pankracy Siwy replaced Paulino Marin. Peter Schmeichel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Bernini in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Pankracy Siwy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jo Øverås. Daustad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pankracy Siwy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 79 minutes of play, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Marko Ruskov made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jo Øverås was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82ndth minute of the game Marko Ruskov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Daustad's Jo Øverås was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 82nd play minutes Marko Ruskov shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Jo Øverås and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peter Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Bernini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL had won after a very even match.
