Wilfredo Lazcano was slow to take the kick. During this time Zecku's players had a chance to rest. In the 14th minute, Emīls Umbrass got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivor Peake in the 21st minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Matias Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes, Ke Lin Mo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Lorenzo and the Zecku players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ke Lin Mo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Vaz in the 27th minute of the match. Eduardo Soriano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ke Lin Mo hit a great ball. Zecku's Emīls Umbrass got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivor Peake in the 35th minute of the match. Matias Carlomagno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivor Peake, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Severo Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Miliano's late challenge caught a San Lorenzo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Miliano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, David Miliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zecku's Petre Encuțescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Zecku from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute Cássio Rocks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Zecku made a substitution. Isidoro Manilan replaced Amadeo Pudes. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After some careless play in the San Lorenzo defense, Emīls Umbrass kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Carlomagno. The San Lorenzo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Carlomagno should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute, Emīls Umbrass left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zecku fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, San Lorenzo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cássio Rocks fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Matias Carlomagno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Rocks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Doni Arce fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo's protests and gave Doni Arce a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Doni Arce. In the 76th minute, Cássio Rocks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petre Encuțescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mo Yi Sang in the 77th minute of play. Emīls Umbrass fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Carlomagno having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Emīls Umbrass had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Carlomagno. San Lorenzo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emīls Umbrass was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. If Emīls Umbrass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mo Yi Sang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júlio Vaz struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Matias Carlomagno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zecku. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of San Lorenzo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zecku:s goal. When the final whistle sounded Zecku left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Lorenzo.
