With his leg Ralph Sanger managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Verwachting's Ruud Geels fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ruud Geels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ralph Sanger made a huge save. In the 12thth minute of the game Ruud Geels who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but B O B I S A's Ralph Sanger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ralph Sanger made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Christijan Schreuder sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruud Geels. In the 26thth minute of the game Twan Hesseling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but B O B I S A's Ralph Sanger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolph Bosch came free, but Herbert Hilhorst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolph Bosch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Hilhorst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irwin Hunkeler in the 35th minute of play. Ralph Sanger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud Geels in the 41st minute of the match. Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolph Bosch in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerry Fleischer to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudolph Bosch got free with Herbert Hilhorst in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herbert Hilhorst was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rudolph Bosch showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 54 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Geels in the 57th minute of play forced B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as B O B I S A's Rudolph Bosch slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herbert Hilhorst. That made the score 1-2 after 59 minutes of play. Ralph Sanger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christijan Schreuder in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, B O B I S A's Gerry Fleischer got a free kick in the 64th minute. Herbert Hilhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Fleischer, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute Ruud Geels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Sanger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Geels in the 69th minute of play forced B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, B O B I S A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glen Stäuble to maneuver through the defense. Harm de Freitas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ralph Sanger. B O B I S A's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Christijan Schreuder notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of B O B I S A's Ralph Sanger. Ralph Sanger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ralph Sanger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruud Geels, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, B O B I S A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georges Walpert to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in B O B I S A's zone, Twan Hesseling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralph Sanger came out of the goal and Twan Hesseling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Glen Stäuble kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. B O B I S A's Ralph Sanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christijan Schreuder in the 83rd minute of play. Ralph Sanger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruud Geels, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Ruud Geels took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralph Sanger. Ralph Sanger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After 91 minutes of play, Verwachting's Ruud Geels made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralph Sanger was left in no man's land by his defense there! B O B I S A made a substitution. J.C. Mijatović replaced Christophe Mehri. 95 minutes into the match, B O B I S A's goal looked a bit too open when Ruud Geels came free, but Ralph Sanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
