Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Fleischer, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerry Fleischer in the 5th minute of play. Santo Libertad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Sanger having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by J.C. Mijatović. B O B I S A were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rolf Affentranger took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Rolf Affentranger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victoriano Bernaldo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Santo Libertad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ralph Sanger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darryl Buckner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ralph Sanger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Buckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Victoriano Bernaldo had great luck who in the 27thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gerry Fleischer from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. B O B I S A's Ralph Sanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter San Juan in the 29th minute of play. Joaquin Lugg made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Santo Libertad. 35 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by J.C. Mijatović. 37 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Pfeifer came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralph Sanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralph Sanger came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner. But to his dismay, Darryl Buckner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 43 minutes, Darryl Buckner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darryl Buckner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo Libertad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Sanger having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
After 52 minutes of play, B O B I S A's J.C. Mijatović made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victoriano Bernaldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Darryl Buckner took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Ralph Sanger to make any attempt to save it. B O B I S A's Ralph Sanger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save B O B I S A from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute Gerry Fleischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, one of Dep Colonia Avellaneda:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from J.C. Mijatović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darryl Buckner. Santo Libertad kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Dep Colonia Avellaneda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Libertad to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Christophe Mehri came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralph Sanger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santo Libertad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 82 minute of play. Darryl Buckner scored 2-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ralph Sanger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darryl Buckner in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralph Sanger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claudio Cerritos in the 91st minute. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Claudio Cerritos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ralph Sanger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Santo Libertad got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ralph Sanger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Buckner in the 95th minute of play. After 98 played minutes B O B I S A got a freekick which was hit by Glen Stäuble. After a defensive mix-up in B O B I S A's zone, Claudio Cerritos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralph Sanger came out of the goal and Claudio Cerritos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dep Colonia Avellaneda had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
