An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Janiczek in the 5th minute of play forced S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Esen Sanal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bernard Janiczek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute Bernard Janiczek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Bernard Janiczek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Esen Sanal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato Augusto in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Baumer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esen Sanal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Janiczek in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bernard Janiczek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esen Sanal was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 30 minutes into the game, Daniel Owsiak threw the ball into play from the sideline. Enhebrator FC's Pedro Beltza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Esen Sanal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute of the game Daniel Owsiak made a throw-in which Faustão Châton played forward. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Janiczek in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Janiczek came free, but Esen Sanal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lei Feng Yan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Bonifacio Baumer made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Enhebrator FC's Ramiro Funes Mori got a free kick in the 45th minute. Enhebrator FC's Carlos Calvet was substituted for Sebastian Veron. After 47 played minutes Enhebrator FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Funes Mori. In the 47th minute of the match, Lei Feng Yan sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Bonifacio Baumer showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernard Janiczek made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernard Janiczek in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esen Sanal saved S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting behind. After having played for 54 minutes, Breno Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Vergílio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Enhebrator FC's Artemio Quin got a free kick in the 58th minute. Enhebrator FC's Mitt Back was substituted for Alejo Marz. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when Enhebrator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Quin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esen Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dries van Veldhuizen in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Lei Feng Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Baumer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Breno Vergílio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Bonifacio Baumer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lei Feng Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enhebrator FC's Bonifacio Baumer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lei Feng Yan in the 85th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lei Feng Yan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bonifacio Baumer was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Bonifacio Baumer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lei Feng Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonifacio Baumer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Châton, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Faustão Châton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dries van Veldhuizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Enhebrator FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Enhebrator FC.
