The audience thought a goal was coming when Elia Di Vincenzo got free with Ritchie Stansfield in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peppone Simmen charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peppone Simmen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Sao Brasola got a freekick which was hit by Peppone Simmen. After having played for 19 minutes, Pedro Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Ayuntamiento CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Cucao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urbano Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Tomaszewski in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Sao Brasola's Cesare Punta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ritchie Stansfield. Ritchie Stansfield yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Damazy Tomaszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Saturnin having to interfere. Urbano Saturnin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Cucao's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blažej Blazejowski in the 42nd minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Urbano Saturnin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Ritchie Stansfield, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joseph Asklöv to strike the kick off in the second half. Deng Jian Bing made a great header on Sao Brasola's corner, it was just that Real Ayuntamiento CF's Ritchie Stansfield managed to reach the ball for a save.
