To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the AC米兰 defense, Dale Dolar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fu Feng Chong. The AC米兰 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fu Feng Chong should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute Dale Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fu Feng Chong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dale Dolar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fu Feng Chong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Dolar in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that 何威庭's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Ugutz was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barcellos Mineiro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vinícius Junior was slow to take the kick. During this time AC米兰's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Hu Yong managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hu Yong in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Ugutz saved Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting behind. Fu Feng Chong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Dolar in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dale Dolar in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fu Feng Chong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 秦风谦 kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 何威庭 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hu Yong made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Abelardo Veloso. AC米兰's Fu Feng Chong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save AC米兰 from getting a goal against them. Fu Feng Chong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Gervasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 何威庭 in the 64th minute of play. Fu Feng Chong was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dale Dolar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 70 minute of play. In the 78th match minute, AC米兰 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 曾威梁 to maneuver through the defense. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jorge Carrascal was substituted for Dale Dolar. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when AC米兰 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. 曾威梁 didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Amerigo Gervasi took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Fu Feng Chong to make any attempt to save it.
