SAN LORENZO FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Laurita FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ernie Siegel took the corner. The supporters of Laurita FC booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shao Zhen Xiao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Kinsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lisandro Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Csaba Szénási's late challenge caught a SAN LORENZO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
