In the 8thth minute of the game Ramon Pueblo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Big Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Eger came free, but Big Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Pueblo in the 18th minute of play. Ramon Pueblo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Edgard de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lakis Kaminaris in the 21st minute of play forced Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Edgard de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard de Almeida came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Ramon Pueblo. But to his dismay, Ramon Pueblo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Big Hands got control of the ball when Paulão Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Edgard de Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Montesclarense E.C. defense, Ramon Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard de Almeida. The Montesclarense E.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard de Almeida should have stopped the shot. Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Pueblo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Wilson do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Big Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Ramon Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Ramon Pueblo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Edgard de Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulão Medeiros was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Lakis Kaminaris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Pueblo in the 56th minute of play. Wilson do Nascimento took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Big Hands. Big Hands dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 89th minute Ramon Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Montesclarense E.C.'s zone, Ramon Pueblo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard de Almeida came out of the goal and Ramon Pueblo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
