Godfried Teunens started the match with the kick off. Wilson do Nascimento hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. La Bichineta's Godfried Teunens got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute Marcos Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Eger in the 6th minute of play. With a little luck, Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida got control of the ball when Godfried Teunens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Godfried Teunens might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgard de Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfried Teunens ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgard de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfried Teunens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Marcos Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfried Teunens, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Dariusz Motyl kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfried Teunens in the 17th minute of play forced Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Edgard de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Durval Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montesclarense E.C.'s protests and gave Durval Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Durval Tinoco. Edgard de Almeida made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Felix Castel sent off a good shot on target. Edgard de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfried Teunens in the 21st minute of play. Edgard de Almeida made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Godfried Teunens sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute of the match La Bichineta got a corner. Montesclarense E.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dariusz Motyl ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Arnaldo Pirmin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgard de Almeida quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edgard de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfried Teunens, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 30th minute Godfried Teunens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Edgard de Almeida successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 33rd minute, Dariusz Motyl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfried Teunens, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the game, La Bichineta's Godfried Teunens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgard de Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Eurico Velloso hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Paulão Medeiros made the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Velloso to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Wilson do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montesclarense E.C.'s André Luís Schmidt was substituted for Paulão Medeiros. La Bichineta's Amado Filipo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eurico Velloso in the 64 minute of the game. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Edgard de Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on La Bichineta's corner Dariusz Motyl fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edgard de Almeida quite easily take care of the ball. Eliseo Iigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgard de Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Iigo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Iigo in the 68th minute of play forced Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Edgard de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Iigo in the 71st minute of play. Silvestre Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Schmidt in the 74th minute of play. Eliseo Iigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgard de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vennard Rojak in the 78th minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Felix Castel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led to La Bichineta's Vennard Rojak getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Felix Castel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Edgard de Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgard de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Iigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
