Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 8th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Fernando Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. LavAzzA's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Pinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to LavAzzA getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Xavier von Felten hit a great ball. In the 17th minute LavAzzA were awarded a corner. Amerigo Labarra went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Amerigo Labarra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense did a great save. With a little luck, LavAzzA's Iwan Lepucki got control of the ball when Cássio Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iwan Lepucki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel de Godoi went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Magno Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Xavier von Felten kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel de Godoi in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Lepucki saved LavAzzA from getting behind. Samir Kastrati hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a little luck, LavAzzA's Iwan Lepucki got control of the ball when Cássio Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led to Olivedos's Rubinho Chaves getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Iwan Lepucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Ferraz in the 42nd minute of the match. When Cássio Ferraz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 42 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Iwan Lepucki was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Magno Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Olivedos's Rômulo Custódio was substituted for Osvaldinho Veiga. Luís Novaes's late challenge caught a LavAzzA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Novaes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Luís Novaes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Abelardo Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Fernando Pinto sent off a good shot on target. Fernando Pinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Abelardo Maranhense made a huge save. Abelardo Maranhense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kuno Kubin in the 61st minute. Cássio Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute Abel de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Cássio Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivedos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Ferraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LavAzzA's Gaudencio Lekubegi got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Gaudencio Lekubegi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abelardo Maranhense. The goal made the score 1-2. Fernando Pinto scored 1-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Maranhense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaudencio Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abelardo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 85th minute of the match. Fernando Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LavAzzA's Mai Di Chao was substituted for Adam Vase. After having played for 95 minutes, Gaudencio Lekubegi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LavAzzA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Lekubegi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LavAzzA played a much better game than Olivedos and deserved their victory. The Olivedos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
