Edmondo Del Monte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xan Descapa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Santiago Silva scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xan Descapa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xan Descapa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Del Monte, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Xan Descapa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Santiago Silva sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, C T Futebol Clube's Allande Sans got a free kick in the 17th minute. C T Futebol Clube's Xan Descapa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save C T Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Vitinho Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Nykvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xan Descapa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Del Monte in the 21st minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Silva made a kick off. Allande Sans charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allande Sans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C T Futebol Clube's Allande Sans got a free kick in the 51st minute. C T Futebol Clube's Xan Descapa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Del Monte in the 52nd minute of play. Björn Kamp went to the cornerflag to take it. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when ΠΑΟΚ FC's Santiago Silva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th minute, Santiago Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xan Descapa was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ΠΑΟΚ FC fully deserved thier win.
