The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Acep Abidin struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Stanislaw Budzyn kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Tony Kroneder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Rossi in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Kliczek&Syn got a corner. Twierdza Wroclaw's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paolo Rossi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Paolo Rossi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Twierdza Wroclaw's Tony Kroneder did a great save. Iwan Nakoneczny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Cordareo in the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Twierdza Wroclaw got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Donatello. The supporters of Twierdza Wroclaw booed when Kliczek&Syn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acep Abidin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anfilogino Pantani took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iwan Nakoneczny. Kliczek&Syn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Igor Furgal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tony Kroneder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Furgal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Lesiecki was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Twierdza Wroclaw's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Iwan Nakoneczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Cordareo in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Twierdza Wroclaw's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Rossi came free, but Tony Kroneder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Lesiecki scored 1-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwan Nakoneczny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kliczek&Syn reached it. Twierdza Wroclaw's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
