The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind ◄19A10►Brunsberga's goalkeeper Ziemowit Lemiesz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute Fabiano Ornelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Lemiesz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Ornelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ziemowit Lemiesz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wlodzimierz Antoszewski made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rakkestad IF's Anders Salkvist. The Rakkestad IF fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Rakkestad IF's Fabiano Ornelas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Christophe Pourre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Borowski in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Rakkestad IF's Fabiano Ornelas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ziemowit Lemiesz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Fabiano Ornelas might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ziemowit Lemiesz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabiano Ornelas ran back to his position shaking his head. Teofil Jaszyna kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A hard shot by Konrad Dziewedik from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Ziemowit Lemiesz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 40 played minutes Rakkestad IF got a freekick which was hit by Anders Salkvist. In the 42nd minute of the match, Fabiano Ornelas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ziemowit Lemiesz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 44th minute of the match Rakkestad IF got a corner. ◄19A10►Brunsberga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Konrad Dziewedik ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ◄19A10►Brunsberga's goalie and right to Andrzej Dobrowski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ◄19A10►Brunsberga's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabiano Ornelas made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Krzysztof Bator managed to get in a good position for a shot. ◄19A10►Brunsberga's supporters rose to their feet, but Krzysztof Bator was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christophe Pourre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rakkestad IF's Christophe Pourre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Ligas in the 52nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Christophe Pourre successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fabiano Ornelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ziemowit Lemiesz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rakkestad IF's Andrzej Dobrowski got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Ryszard Ligas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christophe Pourre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszko Borowski in the 65th minute. Rakkestad IF's Joachim Hylland was substituted for Fabiano Ornelas. 77 minutes into the match, ◄19A10►Brunsberga's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Dobrowski came free, but Ziemowit Lemiesz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ◄19A10►Brunsberga's Ziemowit Lemiesz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Hylland in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Rakkestad IF getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Kai Sørdal hit a great ball. Rakkestad IF made a substitution. Johan Ødegården replaced Andrzej Dobrowski. When Teofil Jaszyna fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ◄19A10►Brunsberga's protests and gave Teofil Jaszyna a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes ◄19A10►Brunsberga got a freekick which was hit by Teofil Jaszyna. ◄19A10►Brunsberga's Ziemowit Lemiesz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Ødegården in the 96th minute of play. Rakkestad IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
