After 15 minutes of play, 1989 Blxsk's Marcos Ekhi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nizam Şafak was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Juan-Ramón Verón came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan-Ramón Verón couldn't finish the play. Nizam Şafak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Furman in the 26th minute of the match. Juan-Ramón Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Sedeni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Juan-Ramón Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Sedeni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan-Ramón Verón in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Sedeni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Furman to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Furman got free with Nizam Şafak in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 53 minutes into the match, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Ekhi came free, but Nizam Şafak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Nihat Ilıca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1989 Blxsk's Enrique Sedeni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
