The corner ended in Dario Draxler almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Orgullo's Artzai Tarin did a great save. A collision led to Orgullo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gungun Karo-karo hit a great ball. In the 16th match minute, Deportivo Ortegano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primo Buiza to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Orgullo's zone, Jan Koller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artzai Tarin came out of the goal and Jan Koller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Manole Cristoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paz Ungo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Manole Cristoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Ortegano's Paz Ungo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oinomoas Konstantatos charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oinomoas Konstantatos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Ortegano's zone, Manole Cristoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paz Ungo came out of the goal and Manole Cristoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deportivo Ortegano's attentive Primo Buiza managed to snatch the ball when Yan Chuan Yang made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Koller to make the kick off. Paz Ungo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Cristoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Orgullo's Manole Cristoiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paz Ungo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orgullo's Araoz Vallejo was substituted for Mario Zapatero. Deportivo Ortegano's Orland Uceda was substituted for Jan Koller. Orgullo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yan Chuan Yang in the 69th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Deportivo Ortegano's goalie and right to Aimar Barro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Deportivo Ortegano's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 72 minutes into the game, Deportivo Ortegano's Nicasio Guipuzcoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artzai Tarin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Paz Ungo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aimar Barro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orland Uceda in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artzai Tarin saved Orgullo from getting behind. Artzai Tarin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicasio Guipuzcoa went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Artzai Tarin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oinomoas Konstantatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Orgullo getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Araoz Vallejo hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Orgullo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Ortegano.
