Sébastien Marionneau came out of the goal and Vasile Soare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arkadiusz Jarosz in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charis Manatakis saved Mesere from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Hajduk in the 14th minute of play forced Mesere's goalkeeper Charis Manatakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Vasile Soare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sébastien Marionneau was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Mesere's Inko Sagrario got a free kick in the 17th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mesere's Vasile Soare slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sébastien Marionneau. That made the score 1-1 after 19 minutes of play. 21 minutes into the match, Astral Roots Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Eate Azcaraso came free, but Sébastien Marionneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes, Franciszek Poling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Astral Roots Gdynia and the Mesere players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Astral Roots Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Franciszek Poling. Vasile Soare's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Sébastien Marionneau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vasile Soare might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sébastien Marionneau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vasile Soare ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute Mesere were awarded a corner. Millrick Ballestero went to the cornerflag to take it. Mustafa Emrah Vahip's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sébastien Marionneau firmly grabbed it by the left post. Grzegorz Glaza hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Millrick Ballestero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sylwester Hajduk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Charis Manatakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sébastien Marionneau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Emrah Vahip in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arkadiusz Jarosz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Kacper Zbydniowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eate Azcaraso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasile Soare in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sébastien Marionneau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sébastien Marionneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Soare, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Astral Roots Gdynia's Sébastien Marionneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Soare in the 67th minute of play. Ryszard Rutecki hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Kacper Zbydniowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Mesere fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Mesere's Vasile Soare looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mesere made a substitution. Fermin Ahedo replaced Millrick Ballestero. The supporters of Astral Roots Gdynia booed when Mesere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ventzislav Slúnchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kacper Zbydniowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Oliszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Sylwester Hajduk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charis Manatakis. Mesere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sylwester Hajduk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Mesere walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
