A collision led to Holmkjar Hotspurs getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Kalle Bjarkmann hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zekeriya Özbekkan in the 18th minute of play forced Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Egil Sølve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egil Sølve made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Saffet Akdağ sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on Real Trabzon Sk's corner Saffet Akdağ fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Egil Sølve quite easily take care of the ball. Görkem Büyükada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oluf Ankerbøl in the 74th minute of play. Eddie Murphy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egil Sølve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Saffet Akdağ could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Egil Sølve made a huge save. Holmkjar Hotspurs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Saffet Akdağ scored to the left of an out of position Egil Sølve, making the score, 1-2. Egil Sølve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saffet Akdağ in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Oluf Ankerbøl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal.
