Spectators: 46 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ignacio Derwin got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constant Vanden Broucke came free, but Ambrosio Quilino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Candal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zac Bal in the 8th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Quilino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Zac Bal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Quilino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marlin FC's Ambrosio Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zac Bal in the 12th minute of play. Aldo Candal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Marlin FC's Ambrosio Quilino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Marlin FC from getting a goal against them. Brugge United's Aldo Candal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Jon in the 26th minute of play. Brugge United's Lucas Nayely suffered a concussion in the 29th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Domingo Jon got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ambrosio Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zac Bal in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Orti in the 42nd minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Aldo Candal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosio Quilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickael Theunis, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes Brugge United got a freekick which was hit by Binjamin Denturck. After 46 played minutes, Marlin FC's Anier Eufrasio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aldo Candal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marlin FC reached it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thommy Pelgrims was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Brugge United getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Binjamin Denturck hit a great ball. In the 52nd match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Ieltxu to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Constant Vanden Broucke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Quilino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constant Vanden Broucke in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Brugge United's Aldo Candal got control of the ball when Pablo Orti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ambrosio Quilino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mickael Theunis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roth Prot hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Ignacio Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Candal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Pirro kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Binjamin Denturck struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ambrosio Quilino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brugge United. Ignacio Derwin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Candal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Ambrosio Quilino came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Brugge United's Olivier Winnepenninckx. But to his dismay, Olivier Winnepenninckx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 91st minute Zac Bal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Quilino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marlin FC's Ambrosio Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickael Theunis in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Aristides Ieltxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marlin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Ieltxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marlin FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
