The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Christian Cardozo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Luís Gustavo Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Bazkoare in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Vinícius Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejo Bazkoare struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Luís Gustavo Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Maquina 9-12-18. Valentin Porfirio hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Felix Clis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Baiano in the 16th minute of play. Luís Gustavo Hermes came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by La Maquina 9-12-18's Arturo Umbruso. But to his dismay, Arturo Umbruso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Felix Clis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Cerezo in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Juan Telo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Gustavo Hermes was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 41 minutes, Marco Sergi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Maquina 9-12-18 and the Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ booed when La Maquina 9-12-18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Sergi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes La Maquina 9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Sanchez. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Cerezo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of La Maquina 9-12-18 booed when Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiaguinho Novaes during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Luís Gustavo Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Umbruso in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Umbruso in the 65th minute of play forced Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Maquina 9-12-18's zone, Flávio Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Clis came out of the goal and Flávio Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71stth minute of the game Patrick Cerezo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Maquina 9-12-18's Felix Clis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Gustavo Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Umbruso in the 74th minute of play. Luís Gustavo Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinícius Porto hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Luís Gustavo Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Umbruso in the 87th minute of play. Luís Gustavo Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Goyo in the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Nabucodonosor E.C.
