When BRASIL.Sp's Lon Lanteigne in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club 23's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Dracena in the 16th minute of play forced BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Caio Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Percy Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BRASIL.Sp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club 23 the free kick. After 20 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Percy Cearense. Thanks to some nice moves Percy Cearense could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Sören Malmberg however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, BRASIL.Sp's Waldir Vargas got a free kick in the 30th minute. BRASIL.Sp's Caio Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Bogdanović in the 38th minute of play. Lon Lanteigne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Sören Malmberg made a huge save. The supporters of Club 23 booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio Dracena hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Cássio Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cássio Dracena was the one to do the kick off. If Volodya Kirov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Dracena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Caio Penha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Caio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Bogdanović in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club 23's Nae Lalescu got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Paulo José Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Club 23's Dacian Săraru tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Caio Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio Dracena. The corner led Club 23's Dacian Săraru to fire away a dangerous shot which Caio Penha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Club 23's Cássio Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caio Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Dracena in the 79th minute of the match. Cássio Dracena scored 0-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caio Penha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sören Malmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lon Lanteigne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caio Penha was a little too slow when Bogdan Bogdanović got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-2.
