Golden Dragón F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorge Higuaín ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Sacronas Futbol Club's Jorge Higuaín to fire away a dangerous shot which Froila Espin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Adrian Pereyra hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Golden Dragón F.C's Chorche Torrescassana got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Golden Dragón F.C's Froila Espin got control of the ball when Adrian Pereyra tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Pereyra got free with Froila Espin in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eron Sanez in the 31st minute of play forced Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jorge Iribarren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froila Espin was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Anier Chano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anier Chano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Sacronas Futbol Club's Jorge Iribarren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Loaisa in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Pereyra to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Froila Espin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 59 played minutes Sacronas Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Perez. Golden Dragón F.C made a substitution. Gaitano Reza replaced Eron Sanez. After a rather tough play, Sacronas Futbol Club's Ramiro Perez got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Edgardo Loaisa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Dragón F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Loaisa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Iribarren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67thth minute of the game Adrian Pereyra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Dragón F.C's Froila Espin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chorche Torrescassana during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Golden Dragón F.C's Chorche Torrescassana got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 79th match minute, Golden Dragón F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Alzola to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Pereta got free with Jorge Iribarren in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sacronas Futbol Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chorche Torrescassana was slow to take the kick. During this time Golden Dragón F.C's players had a chance to rest. In the 88th minute Gaitano Reza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iribarren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Golden Dragón F.C were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Sacronas Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chorche Torrescassana took the corner. Sacronas Futbol Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Golden Dragón F.C for a fine match.
