Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Frederico in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristiaan Van de Velde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 28 minutes of play, 0 descensos's Faustino Frederico made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristiaan Van de Velde was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rosendo Benitez ran over to the corner to take the kick. 0 descensos's Arturo Estevez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kristiaan Van de Velde in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. de belletrekkers's attentive Karel-Jan De Coninck managed to snatch the ball when Melchor Honrio made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Lohitzun came free, but Kristiaan Van de Velde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Estevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alberto Lohitzun made the kick off in the second half. Kristiaan Van de Velde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 0 descensos. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Kristiaan Van de Velde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
