Mats Sundberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 45th minute Anier Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Sundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacronas Futbol Club's Jorge Iribarren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Sacronas Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Sjögren made a kick off. A collision led to Sacronas Futbol Club getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gabriel Amato hit a great ball. Jorge Iribarren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Ekblom in the 57th minute of the match. Sacronas Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexander Milošević ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Adrian Pereyra came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Sacronas Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Pereyra couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's Leon Paublo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mats Sundberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vykans Vikingar's Mats Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Ortiz in the 65th minute of play. Mats Sundberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Pereyra in the 68th minute. Vykans Vikingar's Mats Sundberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. Sacronas Futbol Club's Adrian Pereyra got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adrian Pereyra 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Mats Sundberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Pereyra in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Mercado during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sacronas Futbol Club's Roque Alfaro got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jorge Iribarren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Stenqvist in the 88th minute of the match. The Sacronas Futbol Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sacronas Futbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
