Froila Espin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Estevez in the 3rd minute of play. Chaime Alamon kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, 0 descensos's Rosendo Benitez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Froila Espin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 7 played minutes 0 descensos got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Joanes. Rolando Sedeni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Pereta, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to 0 descensos getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Israel Cordero hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Joaquim Pereta notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of 0 descensos's Rolando Sedeni. Rolando Sedeni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eron Sanez in the 26th minute of play forced 0 descensos's goalkeeper Rolando Sedeni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Sedeni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Pereta, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 0 descensos's Rolando Sedeni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Pereta in the 40th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquim Pereta to make the kick off. Alberto Lohitzun's late challenge caught a Golden Dragón F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Lohitzun helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes 0 descensos got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Lohitzun. A collision led to Golden Dragón F.C getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gaitano Reza hit a great ball. Rolando Sedeni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Pereta in the 67th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Golden Dragón F.C's Joaquim Pereta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolando Sedeni. That made the score 0-3 after 68 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Joaquim Pereta took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Rolando Sedeni to make any attempt to save it. Rolando Sedeni came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Dragón F.C's Joaquim Pereta. But to his dismay, Joaquim Pereta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Joaquim Pereta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Rolando Sedeni skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 0 descensos's Rolando Sedeni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save 0 descensos from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, 0 descensos's goalkeeper Rolando Sedeni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim Pereta. After having played for 91 minutes, Joaquim Pereta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Dragón F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Pereta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind 0 descensos's goalkeeper Rolando Sedeni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The 0 descensos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Golden Dragón F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Golden Dragón F.C.
