In the 10th minute Baltasar Pascua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Edgard Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Picanya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Reyes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zlatan Nickerson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pepito Riba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Sigfridsson came free, but Pepito Riba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Here Comes the Hammer's Zlatan Nickerson got a free kick in the 28th minute. Hans Halman's late challenge caught a Here Comes the Hammer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Halman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Here Comes the Hammer booed when Picanya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Halman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pepito Riba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bai Yu Xiong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pepito Riba came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Here Comes the Hammer's Bai Yu Xiong. But to his dismay, Bai Yu Xiong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Narcis Ipătescu charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narcis Ipătescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Narcis Ipătescu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Pepito Riba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatan Nickerson in the 55th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Narcis Ipătescu in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Here Comes the Hammer's Yu Xiong Yan. Picanya FC's Pepito Riba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Sigfridsson in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Here Comes the Hammer's goal looked a bit too open when Arbidel Pais came free, but Olov Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bai Yu Xiong during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Olov Åström came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Picanya FC's Christoph Kannegiesser. But to his dismay, Christoph Kannegiesser quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Fan Qiang Yuan's late challenge caught a Picanya FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fan Qiang Yuan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Here Comes the Hammer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fan Qiang Yuan to maneuver through the defense. Pepito Riba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Sigfridsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Olov Åström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Kannegiesser in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute 김 천 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zlatan Nickerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Picanya FC had won after a very even match.
