Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Boleslaw Mudry started the match with the kick off. Wilfredo Etxahun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Tanek Piechocki made a huge save. The supporters of Szalone Konie booed when Sporting de Gijón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas-Armando Giunta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Mudry in the 8th minute of play forced Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Fausto George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boleslaw Mudry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maksymilian Marosz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto George read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Rafal Koczara hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Szalone Konie's goalkeeper Tanek Piechocki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Kinsen. Fausto George made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Szostak in the 25th minute of play. Fausto George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Mudry, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Boleslaw Mudry hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Tanek Piechocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Etxahun, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes Sporting de Gijón got a freekick which was hit by Omar Etor. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celedonio Kinsen made a kick off. Fausto George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Mudry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boleslaw Mudry took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto George. Fausto George dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fausto George made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ziemowit Klewinski in the 62nd minute. Ziemowit Klewinski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fausto George came out and tried to block the shot, but Ziemowit Klewinski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 62nd minute. Szalone Konie's Tanek Piechocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas-Armando Giunta in the 65th minute of play. Sporting de Gijón's Aaron Anselmino was substituted for Eloy Timo. Eloy Timo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Fausto George made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Szostak in the 69th minute of play. If Blas-Armando Giunta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tanek Piechocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas-Armando Giunta in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Etxahun in the 91st minute of play forced Szalone Konie's goalkeeper Tanek Piechocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Aaron Anselmino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maksymilian Marosz struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Fausto George didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szalone Konie. Szalone Konie's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
