An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Cutberto in the 4th minute of play forced Zelg FC's goalkeeper Marian Anderjoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Philippe Vehma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Javier Rocio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in La Scaloneta's zone, Philippe Vehma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Rocio came out of the goal and Philippe Vehma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute Gualtiero Nacht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Rocio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Gualtiero Nacht made a precise shot to the right of Javier Rocio. La Scaloneta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Javier Rocio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualtiero Nacht in the 24th minute of the match. Sebastian Fagondo's late challenge caught a Zelg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Fagondo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Leandro Milio hit a great ball. Javier Rocio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualtiero Nacht in the 31st minute of the match. Javier Rocio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gualtiero Nacht went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Javier Rocio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualtiero Nacht in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Leandro Milio hit a great ball. After the first half Zelg FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Evaristo Txaran's late challenge caught a Zelg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Txaran helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Evaristo Txaran got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Hektor Wasser sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio didn't even have to move. La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugene Mullis in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Leandro Milio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Javier Rocio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gilberto Theissl. Gualtiero Nacht might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Rocio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualtiero Nacht ran back to his position shaking his head. Javier Rocio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualtiero Nacht's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Eugene Mullis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Javier Rocio made a huge save. Philippe Vehma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Javier Rocio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zelg FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
