In the 5th minute of the match Rogelio Heriberto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Higuita skillfully saved the ball. In the 7th minute, Manuel Iban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Rocio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Roque James came free, but Javier Rocio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Augusto Udalaitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Javier Rocio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Udalaitz in the 21st minute of the match. Rene Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Lucas Langoni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Rocio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. A collision led to ..Villa Rugby Club.. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rosendo Beti hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Manuel Iban notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio. Javier Rocio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 44 minutes of play, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Manuel Iban made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Rocio was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Javier Rocio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Udalaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 59 minutes into the match, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s goal looked a bit too open when Benito Cutberto came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Cutberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Rocio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Iban in the 75th minute of play. Javier Rocio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Iban, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Rene Higuita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Cutberto's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Manuel Iban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier Rocio. La Scaloneta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Iban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 90th minute Augusto Udalaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Rocio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 minutes of play, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Manuel Iban made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Rocio was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that ..Villa Rugby Club.. were the better team. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
