Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Cetino in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olav Øverby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kent Remme scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filomeno Rioja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filomeno Rioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Markham in the 39th minute of play. Olav Øverby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Gudesteo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The Club Floresta Manda fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Club Floresta Manda's Fabian Gudesteo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Markham was the one to do the kick off. When Lautaro Estévez fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Floresta Manda's protests and gave Lautaro Estévez a yellow card for diving instead. Filomeno Rioja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Markham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Floresta Manda:s Filomeno Rioja showed great skill when he stopped Kent Remme:s penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Markham in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filomeno Rioja saved Club Floresta Manda from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Daniel Cetino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olav Øverby. Brufoss IL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Cetino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Tor-Egil Arntsen replaced Karl Bergstrøm. Vetle Nygård hit a great ball. Arild Reppen took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filomeno Rioja. Filomeno Rioja dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. After 90 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Tor-Egil Arntsen. After a defensive mix-up in Club Floresta Manda's zone, Tor-Egil Arntsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Rioja came out of the goal and Tor-Egil Arntsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filomeno Rioja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor-Egil Arntsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
