Celsinho Cosme hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Buritama Sports's Edmundo de Toledo got control of the ball when Jan-Joost De kaiser tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Jan-Joost De kaiser could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Edmundo de Toledo however easily saved by the left post. Jan-Joost De kaiser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Edmundo de Toledo made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Gustavsson came free, but Steve Van der Veeken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiu Feng Guo in the 12th minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Fre De Beer came free, but Edmundo de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Edmundo de Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Santiago Koffidis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edmundo de Toledo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 19th minute, Frédson Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steve Van der Veeken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Gustavsson in the 21st minute of the match. Buritama Sports's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celsinho Cosme in the 23rd minute. Buritama Sports's Celsinho Cosme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Steve Van der Veeken in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aírton Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Qiu Feng Guo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Purple Talents's Steve Van der Veeken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ove Gustavsson in the 26th minute of play. Steve Van der Veeken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Félix in the 31st minute of play. Purple Talents's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Santiago Koffidis in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute, Qiu Feng Guo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edmundo de Toledo. The goal made the score 1-0. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Jan-Joost De kaiser put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edmundo de Toledo. After a defensive mix-up in Purple Talents's zone, Jan-Ove Gustavsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steve Van der Veeken came out of the goal and Jan-Ove Gustavsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Buritama Sports's Edmundo de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Buritama Sports from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Joost De kaiser got free with Edmundo de Toledo in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
In the 52nd minute Qiu Feng Guo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qiu Feng Guo in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Qiu Feng Guo came free, but Edmundo de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Purple Talents's Qiu Feng Guo in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buritama Sports's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th minute of the match Purple Talents got a corner. Buritama Sports's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Santiago Koffidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sports's Alessandro Félix got a free kick in the 67th minute. The throw-in from Marquinhos Penha in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Purple Talents's Charl Anthonis. Alfredão Ramalho made in the 74th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alessandro Félix. Buritama Sports's Edmundo de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Joost De kaiser in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Purple Talents was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fre De Beer to maneuver through the defense. Purple Talents's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when 孔翔沙 scored to the left of an out of position Steve Van der Veeken, making the score, 2-1. Edmundo de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qiu Feng Guo in the 84th minute of play. Frédson Terra charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frédson Terra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Buritama Sports:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Purple Talents:s goal. Edmundo de Toledo had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Santiago Koffidis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Purple Talents's Charl Anthonis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marquinhos Penha in the 95 minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Purple Talents fans cheered their team off the field, for while Buritama Sports had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
