Mete y Raspa FC's Bert Pöggeler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Carrillo in the 4th minute of play. Bert Pöggeler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Turi in the 6th minute of play. In the 14th minute Fritz Busk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tautvydas Mickevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Tautvydas Mickevičius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tristan Neyda. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tristan Neyda got free with Tautvydas Mickevičius in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guido Carrillo struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Bert Pöggeler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA. Tautvydas Mickevičius made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Tristan Neyda sent off a good shot on target. Lalla Paiz charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lalla Paiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lalla Paiz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Mete y Raspa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Carrillo came free, but Bert Pöggeler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bert Pöggeler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Carrillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Txordon hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Mete y Raspa FC's Lehoi Payno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tautvydas Mickevičius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guido Carrillo took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bert Pöggeler. Bert Pöggeler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With an all-out effort, Mete y Raspa FC's Tautvydas Mickevičius threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lehoi Payno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Carrillo in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bert Pöggeler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fritz Busk made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gabriel Turi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tautvydas Mickevičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Busk in the 53rd minute of the match. Gabriel Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bert Pöggeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-4 became the score in the 56th minute when Guido Carrillo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tautvydas Mickevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lehoi Payno, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mete y Raspa FC's zone, Guido Carrillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bert Pöggeler came out of the goal and Guido Carrillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Lucio Txordon put in a rough tackle. In the 69th match minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Txordon to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Txomin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Bert Pöggeler made a huge save. Gabriel Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bert Pöggeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vicente Txomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mete y Raspa FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's performance. The match ended with a win for ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA.
