Esteban Iigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geir Mørk in the 2nd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Branco FC's goalkeeper Esteban Iigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geir Mørk. After a rather tough play, FRANK's Trond Valla got a free kick in the 14th minute. Frank Brorsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Oroitz in the 21st minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Eulalio Tonete made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FRANK's Frank Brorsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Tonete in the 29th minute of play forced FRANK's goalkeeper Frank Brorsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Øyvind Martinsen hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Leonides Eriz put in a rough tackle. In the 37th minute, Isak Holmvik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Gabrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Brorsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the Branco FC defense, Trond Valla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Iigo. The Branco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Iigo should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as FRANK's Geir Mørk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esteban Iigo. That made the score 2-1 after 47 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Frank Brorsson made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Fernando Gabrio sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Fernando Gabrio could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Frank Brorsson however easily saved by the left post. Esteban Iigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trond Valla, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The supporters of FRANK booed when Branco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Iigo having to interfere. Eulalio Tonete could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Frank Brorsson made a huge save. Frank Brorsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Octavio Acevedo. Esteban Iigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trond Valla, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Frank Brorsson made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Fernando Gabrio sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Siro Oroitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Brorsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Eulalio Tonete dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frank Brorsson, 2-2. Branco FC's Esteban Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Øyvind Martinsen in the 90th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
