Mathias dos Santos started the match with the kick off. Riesgo Cero's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Renan Barbosa scored to the left of an out of position Anselmo Nerio, making the score, 1-0. In the 8th minute, Mathias dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montevideo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 10th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Silveira to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Micael came free, but Oleg Timofeev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Nerio was a little too slow when Mathias dos Santos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 3-0. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Renan Barbosa took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Anselmo Nerio to make any attempt to save it. Anselmo Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias dos Santos in the 23rd minute of play. Anselmo Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oleg Timofeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Rolado, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Mathias dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Anselmo Nerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oleg Timofeev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Tartalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Riesgo Cero's Anselmo Nerio got control of the ball when Mathias dos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laerte Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Montevideo's Renan Barbosa in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Alejandro Micael made the kick off in the second half. Clóvis Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Claudio Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Laerte Paraíba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montevideo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Oleg Timofeev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Rolado in the 74th minute of play. Anselmo Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Barbosa in the 81st minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Montevideo fully deserved thier win.
