The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Melquiades Eguerdi put in a rough tackle. Mai Quan Peng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brian Fumey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Aytaç Sözen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Félicien Payan's late challenge caught a Seed Town West's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Félicien Payan helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Léon Cailleaux in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Einar Klysnov saved Seed Town West from getting behind. Mai Quan Peng received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brian Fumey came out and tried to block the shot, but Mai Quan Peng slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Léon Cailleaux took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Einar Klysnov. Einar Klysnov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Einar Klysnov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léon Cailleaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Seed Town West booed when Roncourt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thierry Lhermite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mai Quan Peng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Brian Fumey made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Ademir Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Einar Klysnov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Félicien Payan went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Roncourt were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Félicien Payan was the one to do the kick off. Brian Fumey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Quan Peng in the 52nd minute of play. Félicien Payan was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 57th minute, Félicien Payan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Seed Town West's Mai Quan Peng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brian Fumey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roncourt's Brian Fumey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Quan Peng in the 67th minute of play. Seed Town West's Dan Vøge was substituted for Haroldo Napier. Roncourt's Jean-Marc Kazmierczak was substituted for Léon Cailleaux. Seed Town West made a substitution. Dé Bille replaced Fillip Sivananda. The throw-in from Octave Debarre in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Seed Town West's Germán Casado. After a defensive mix-up in Roncourt's zone, Aytaç Sözen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Fumey came out of the goal and Aytaç Sözen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven Herling hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Einar Klysnov made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Jean-Marc Kazmierczak sent off a good shot on target. Mai Quan Peng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roncourt's Brian Fumey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Quan Peng in the 88th minute of play. If Mai Quan Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes, Mai Quan Peng made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Roncourt's Brian Fumey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascal Lama during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
