The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Léon Cailleaux scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anselmo Nerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the game, Léon Cailleaux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Anselmo Nerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anselmo Nerio came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Roncourt's Félicien Payan. But to his dismay, Félicien Payan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Léon Cailleaux sped through Riesgo Cero's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anselmo Nerio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Félicien Payan in the 33rd minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Anselmo Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute of the match, Alejandro Micael tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Brian Fumey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 36th minute, Félicien Payan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Léon Cailleaux in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Nerio saved Riesgo Cero from getting behind. Riesgo Cero's Anselmo Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léon Cailleaux in the 44th minute of play. Anselmo Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léon Cailleaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Riesgo Cero players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Roncourt were winning 0-7.

51 minutes into the game, Léon Cailleaux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Anselmo Nerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anselmo Nerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Léon Cailleaux went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prudencio Rolado during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Prudencio Rolado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Roncourt's Thierry Lhermite ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anselmo Nerio. Anselmo Nerio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Roncourt made a substitution. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak replaced Léon Cailleaux. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Nerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Félicien Payan took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Anselmo Nerio to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Roncourt booed when Riesgo Cero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Sugoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Benedicto Sugoi hit a great ball. Anselmo Nerio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jean-Marc Kazmierczak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-14 in the 83 minute of play. Igor Keller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anselmo Nerio having to make a save. 90 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Marc Kazmierczak came free, but Anselmo Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Nerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak ran back to his position shaking his head. Riesgo Cero's Anselmo Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Marc Kazmierczak in the 95th minute of play. Roncourt's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
