Ivan Turina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 14th match minute, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Alm to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Melander came free, but Higino Pessoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes Pinhote FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sören Wennersten who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severiano Prates during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Severiano Prates hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Andreas Alm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higino Pessoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Ivan Turina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dércio Brandão in the 24th minute of play. Higino Pessoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Alm in the 27th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK got a freekick which was hit by Kent Melander. 34 minutes into the match, Andreas Alm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higino Pessoa. Pinhote FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andreas Alm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ivan Turina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Américo Severo in the 39th minute. Severiano Prates got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Severiano Prates hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Higino Pessoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Alm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Américo Severo to make the kick off. Nuno Alves hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Stig-Åke Ennegren kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermenegildo Teles. When Pinhote FC's Nuno Alves in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
