Simbo FC's Octavio Lauaxeta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Polkoski in the 3rd minute of play. Niklaes Maratse kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. København's zone, Feliberto Mouricio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Nordenkrone came out of the goal and Feliberto Mouricio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Güneri Özbilen hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Lane Rhoades shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Nordenkrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Simbo FC's Victoriano Banegas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pierre Nordenkrone was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute, Lane Rhoades hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Fabian Polkoski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Lauaxeta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Lane Rhoades hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Hakkı Devrim İltan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoriano Banegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Octavio Lauaxeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Polkoski, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. F.C. København's Pierre Nordenkrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lane Rhoades in the 26th minute of play. In the 37th minute Victoriano Banegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Nordenkrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güneri Özbilen's late challenge caught a Simbo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Güneri Özbilen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Simbo FC booed when F.C. København was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güneri Özbilen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Aşır Ekici notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Simbo FC's Octavio Lauaxeta. Octavio Lauaxeta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute Lane Rhoades shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Nordenkrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nair Galarza to make the kick off. Jonas Brion hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Hakkı Devrim İltan kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 59th minute Lane Rhoades shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Nordenkrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aşır Ekici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C. København's Nicholas Hulvej was substituted for Aşır Ekici. København's Pierre Nordenkrone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. København from getting a goal against them. After 67 minutes F.C. København's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Feliberto Mouricio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Simbo FC's corner Feliberto Mouricio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pierre Nordenkrone quite easily take care of the ball. After 68 minutes, Rogelio Gombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simbo FC and the F.C. København players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Simbo FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rogelio Gombal hit a great ball. Fabian Polkoski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. F.C. København's Pierre Nordenkrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lane Rhoades in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Hakkı Devrim İltan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Pedro Luiz Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierre Nordenkrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Banegas in the 82nd minute of the match. Victoriano Banegas might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierre Nordenkrone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victoriano Banegas ran back to his position shaking his head. Pierre Nordenkrone made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Lane Rhoades sent off a good shot on target. Octavio Lauaxeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís da Mata in the 93rd minute of play. Octavio Lauaxeta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís da Mata went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F.C. København fans cheered their team off the field, for while Simbo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
