Jean-Paul Daalmeyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Underdogs's Jean-Paul Daalmeyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when KIA KAHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Calzada didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of The Underdogs's Jean-Paul Daalmeyer. A nice corner shot did that Karl-Erik Lind got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jean-Paul Daalmeyer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 34thth minute of the game Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Underdogs's Jean-Paul Daalmeyer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute of the match The Underdogs got a corner. KIA KAHA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brito Montemayor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sataporn Snabl went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Sataporn Snabl came free, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Shao Hui Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Santilli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos came free, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sataporn Snabl came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jean-Paul Daalmeyer could save by the left post. 64 minutes into the match, Shao Hui Li had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Santilli. KIA KAHA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shao Hui Li was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. KIA KAHA made a substitution. Nicklas Smitt replaced Sataporn Snabl. In the 73rd match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thijs Brugmans to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Erik Lind in the 75th minute of the match. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Glanselius in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to The Underdogs getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. David Geers hit a great ball. Nicklas Smitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Björn Ahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Fabio Santilli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Boschker in the 88th minute of play. With an all-out effort, KIA KAHA's Jean-Paul Daalmeyer threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Glanselius, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. KIA KAHA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
