Bernardo Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Barrenta SC's Nestor Carioca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Barrenta SC from getting a goal against them. Luiz Fábio Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Berdaitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fábio Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. After 22 minutes, Marquinhos Messias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrenta SC and the Administrativo Sport Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Messias to maneuver through the defense. After 23 played minutes, Administrativo Sport Club's Wilfredo Clemencin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nestor Carioca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Administrativo Sport Club reached it. 26 minutes into the game, Tomas Chucho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Administrativo Sport Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrenta SC the free kick. After 26 played minutes Administrativo Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Chucho. After 27 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Nunes. Barrenta SC's Nestor Carioca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Barrenta SC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 31 minutes, Yuri Alberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrenta SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuri Alberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Administrativo Sport Club getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ceferino Maidana hit a great ball. Fellipe de Lima hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Administrativo Sport Club's zone, Luiz Fábio Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Berdaitz came out of the goal and Luiz Fábio Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barrenta SC's Nestor Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Rik in the 42nd minute of play. Nestor Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Tomas Chucho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceferino Maidana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ubaldo Berdaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fábio Lima in the 52nd minute. 1-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Luiz Fábio Lima elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Ceferino Maidana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Administrativo Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Yuri Alberto took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ubaldo Berdaitz. Ubaldo Berdaitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 66th minute Paulino Rik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's João Augusto Nunes got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Wilfredo Clemencin came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Administrativo Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Clemencin couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Rik in the 72nd minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Nestor Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Yuri Alberto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Ubaldo Berdaitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Augusto Nunes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Berdaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fábio Lima in the 84th minute. In the 95th minute, Ceferino Maidana made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Carioca. Barrenta SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. The Administrativo Sport Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barrenta SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
