The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Niceto Sendoa kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Apolo Dalmau hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Domingo Jago kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Julian Iratzeder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateo Llorienzo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Fero in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard George came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregorio Cortez during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Merengue FC booed when ZORZAL01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. ZORZAL01's Apolo Dalmau suffered a sore thigh after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 25 minutes into the game, Niceto Sendoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merengue FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZORZAL01 the free kick. ZORZAL01's Timoteo Dolcet was substituted for Apolo Dalmau. Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Fero in the 29th minute of the match. After 29th play minutes Nicanor Fero shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Mateo Llorienzo and just under the crossbar into goal. Mateo Llorienzo made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Edgardo Nardo sent off a good shot on target. Mateo Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Fero, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Fero in the 38th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Mateo Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicanor Fero to make the kick off. Mateo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Gotzon in the 54th minute of play. Mateo Llorienzo came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by ZORZAL01's Julian Iratzeder. But to his dismay, Julian Iratzeder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 68 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard George came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Higinio Polo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugenio Sedeni. Higinio Polo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Domingo Jago showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 70 minute of play. Mateo Llorienzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Maldonado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Dolcet in the 77th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Mateo Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Merengue FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Arnoldo Larra hit a great ball. Mateo Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Maldonado, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Paolo Gotzon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Llorienzo was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Nicanor Fero took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Llorienzo. Mateo Llorienzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Julian Iratzeder shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. ZORZAL01 were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Merengue FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julian Iratzeder took the corner. Mateo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Maldonado in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, ZORZAL01's Arsenio Maldonado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Llorienzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1.
