Candelaria FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Remo Borges scored to the left of an out of position Marco Peli, making the score, 2-0. In the 21st minute Alfredo Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Rosa in the 27th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Marco Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the game Cristian Dias made a throw-in which Alberto Prado played forward. Remo Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Marco Peli made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Esteves got free with Marco Peli in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Candelaria FC's Nunez Gartzea managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cleiton Paulista in the 46 minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Esteves made a kick off. Cristian Dias made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alberto Prado immediately put the ball in play. In the 54th minute, Serafim Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Peli was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 58th minute of the game Alberto Prado made a throw-in which Caco Donato played forward. Marco Peli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from César Rosa went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the match, César Rosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Peli. Candelaria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that César Rosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 69th minute Alberto Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Candelaria FC defense, César Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Peli. The Candelaria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Peli should have stopped the shot. Marco Peli came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Marzagão's Alfredo Esteves. But to his dismay, Alfredo Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Marco Peli came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Marzagão's Remo Borges. But to his dismay, Remo Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 89th minute César Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleiton Paulista made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by César Rosa. After 94 minutes, Nunez Gartzea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candelaria FC and the Marzagão players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Nunez Gartzea got a free kick in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Marzagão had played much better football throughout.
