Verwachting's Melvin Borgman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarkan Demirci in the 7th minute of play. Tarkan Demirci struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Melvin Borgman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KuZeYYıLDıZı Cheat Hunter. 13 minutes into the game, one of Verwachting:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Melvin Borgman had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Zé Pedro Reis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Verwachting's zone, Tarkan Demirci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melvin Borgman came out of the goal and Tarkan Demirci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, KuZeYYıLDıZı Cheat Hunter's Tarkan Demirci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melvin Borgman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Tarkan Demirci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Melvin Borgman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Akif Peyami came free, but Melvin Borgman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Vaalman got free with Gunnar Bennet in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Verwachting players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KuZeYYıLDıZı Cheat Hunter were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruud Geels made a kick off. Stefano van der Schaaf kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Mehmet Akif Peyami from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got Melvin Borgman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to KuZeYYıLDıZı Cheat Hunter getting a freekick after 55 minutes play.
