The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sebastião Almeida hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Dráuzio Paraíba charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio Paraíba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to 100 Chance getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dráuzio Paraíba hit a great ball. Luís Fábio Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Pabla in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Meneses during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. booed when 100 Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Meneses didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dávid Bisconti took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fábio Machado. Luís Fábio Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Roberto Sugoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fábio Andrade in the 20th minute. Luís Fábio Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dávid Bisconti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Darío Scotto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Fábio Machado. 100 Chance's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darío Scotto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Roberto Sugoi made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Giovani Cearense sent off a good shot on target. Giovani Cearense hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Darío Scotto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fábio Machado was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Luís Fábio Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darío Scotto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipe Meneses made a kick off. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Darío Scotto got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 52 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Quintun came free, but Luís Fábio Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráuzio Paraíba hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darío Scotto in the 58th minute of play forced 100 Chance's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Darío Scotto came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darío Scotto couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Pedro Pabla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Roberto Sugoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Pedro Pabla managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Pabla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fábio Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. made a substitution. Ildefonso Bastian replaced Leo Matei. In a very dangerous position, a player in 100 Chance fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Ildefonso Bastian's late challenge caught a 100 Chance's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ildefonso Bastian helped the player get up and apologised. Roberto Sugoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Teixeira in the 78th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Pabla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Fábio Machado. That made the score 0-7 in the 80 minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Constantino Rutenio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Luís Fábio Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 86 minutes, Filipe Meneses managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 100 Chance's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Meneses was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Dávid Bisconti was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 95th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
