AC Ony's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granicerul the free kick. In the 6th match minute, AC Ony was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Dei to maneuver through the defense. AC Ony's Julio Dei got his second yellow card of the match in the 9th minute. The referee ordered Julio Dei off the ground. Thanks to some nice moves Valeriu Uduleanu could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Cisco Rubial however easily saved by the left post. In the 15th minute Donald Tusk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Bebeșel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Olimpiu Zdrenghea fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granicerul's protests and gave Olimpiu Zdrenghea a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Granicerul's Olimpiu Zdrenghea got a free kick in the 18th minute. Cristian Banciu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Valeriu Uduleanu hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Granicerul's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Hermansson came free, but Octavian Bebeșel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes AC Ony got a freekick which was hit by Ciprian Caba. In the 28th minute, Granicerul's Remus Pinczewski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cisco Rubial. Cisco Rubial yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When AC Ony's Donald Tusk in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Granicerul's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remus Pinczewski got free with Cisco Rubial in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Granicerul's Eusebiu Ianculescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remus Pinczewski was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Remus Pinczewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cisco Rubial saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Granicerul's goalkeeper Octavian Bebeșel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donald Tusk. Octavian Bebeșel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. AC Ony's Albérico Lameiras was substituted for Ciprian Caba. Octavian Bebeșel was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Donald Tusk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Donald Tusk really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. After some careless play in the AC Ony defense, Eusebiu Ianculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cisco Rubial. The AC Ony fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cisco Rubial should have stopped the shot. After 73 played minutes AC Ony got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Erik Hermansson. In the 74th minute, Mihai Lixandru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Remus Pinczewski sped through AC Ony's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cisco Rubial. Ferdinand Chivulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Granicerul's Remus Pinczewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cisco Rubial made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 94 minutes into the game, Manuel Boteanu threw the ball into play from the sideline. AC Ony's Cristian Banciu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
