Davi Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Lira in the 6th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Allan Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. October 04's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, October 04's Allan Simões got a free kick in the 12th minute. Davi Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Senna in the 14th minute of the match. Anderson Machado's late challenge caught a Futbol Club RRFV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anderson Machado helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 minutes, Durvalino Albuquerque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the October 04 and the Futbol Club RRFV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Durvalino Albuquerque hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Diamantino Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Horácio Aguiar notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna. Diamantino Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Allan Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Diamantino Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davi Couto made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Leonel Sanches sent off a good shot on target. Leonel Sanches took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Davi Couto. Davi Couto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 42 minutes into the match, October 04's goalkeeper Davi Couto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diamantino Senna. After the first half October 04 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kauã Lira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Horácio Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the October 04 defense, Leonel Sanches kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davi Couto. The October 04 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davi Couto should have stopped the shot. After having played for 59 minutes, Kauã Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futbol Club RRFV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauã Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jarbas Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, October 04's Durvalino Albuquerque tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Noel Pombal hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. October 04's Durvalino Albuquerque shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Diamantino Senna but with some difficulty. When Mário Pena fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored October 04's protests and gave Mário Pena a yellow card for diving instead. Mário Pena hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Aguiar in the 71st minute of play. Davi Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Senna to maneuver through the defense. Diamantino Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Wilian Alcântara's late challenge caught a Futbol Club RRFV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davi Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Diamantino Senna was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Horácio Aguiar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horácio Aguiar really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 88th minute, Horácio Aguiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Aguiar in the 95th minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Diamantino Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
