An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Tan in the 9th minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Gul Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 15 minutes on the clock, Junior Tompkins commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Garlic Eaters! Michael Tan took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gul Keep. Gul Keep dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Ronny Hurren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garlic Eaters's Gul Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svante Vase in the 38th minute of play. Bruninho Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Dabija having to interfere. Michael Tan struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gul Keep didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️. Dinu Dabija made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ronny Hurren sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Fabrizio Carbonaro hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Svante Vase to strike the kick off in the second half. Gul Keep stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Svante Vase's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 53rd match minute, Garlic Eaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Falcão to maneuver through the defense. Svante Vase sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Cliff Gurney fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garlic Eaters's protests and gave Cliff Gurney a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ booed when Garlic Eaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cliff Gurney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Tan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Gul Keep made a huge save. After having played for 70 minutes, Michael Tan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Tan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s Andrei Pintea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gul Keep. That made the score 0-3 after 73 minutes of play. Svante Vase kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ovidiu Dobrica's late challenge caught a Garlic Eaters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidiu Dobrica helped the player get up and apologised. Ovidiu Dobrica hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Dobrica. Chants of G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Garlic Eaters had held the ball for most of the match.
