A.S. Udinese's Fedele Schiacciacasse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Bentkowski in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Miroslaw Lizewski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fedele Schiacciacasse. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Goral Zywiec's Antoni Swoboda got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Emiliano Scannella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leszek Pruss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filippo Di Cesare hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Miroslaw Lizewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fedele Schiacciacasse. A.S. Udinese's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miroslaw Lizewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Dossena got free with Leszek Pruss in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 59 minutes, Ernesto Delle Donne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.S. Udinese and the Goral Zywiec players grew even worse after the yellow card. Udinese's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fedele Schiacciacasse. Leszek Pruss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Maldini in the 81st minute of the match. After 83 minutes Goral Zywiec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michael-Peter Koenig who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Michael-Peter Koenig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leszek Pruss quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zbyszek Brodzki hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Emiliano Scannella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Leszek Pruss made a huge save. After some careless play in the Goral Zywiec defense, Junior Maldini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leszek Pruss. The Goral Zywiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leszek Pruss should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Leszek Pruss successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 92 minutes into the game, Sebastian Bentkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Fedele Schiacciacasse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
